The narrowest house in Budapest
The narrowest house in the capital, which has two
facades, is located at number 16 of Várkert rakpart.
The side facing the Danube is 6.2 m wide, and the
side facing Döbrentei utca is only 5.5 m wide.
The house was built in 1898 and survived all the
trials of the 20th century with minor damage.
This block of houses next to the Elizabeth Bridge is
one of our favorites, as each building here shows us a
different architectural style and era.
Size: 24 x 21 cm
Color: Bronze with gold on beige
