KERAMIART - ILDIKÓ KÁROLYI

“Currently I employ raku techniques to create ceramic objects. My works can be placed on the boundary between contemporary design and art: apart from the Whispering Globes series, I make ornamental pieces and usable ceramics. My goal is capture beauty. My creative process consists of constant, focused, yet in some respects instintive experimentation with materials, shapes and surfaces. This process is an intuitive search for harmony, a quest for delight. Objects born in my hands are imprints of the inner paths of this explorer-researcher-observer mind.
